We are planning acanoe/cataraft trip and are concerned that the level may be too low for the raft. Walt Park City, UT wchudleigh@sltrib Adventure Adviser: Walt, your best bet is to go right to the source. To find out if Utah’s San Juan is runnable at such low levels, call the San Juan district of the Bureau of Land Management at 435-587-1544 between 8 a.m. and 12 noon (Mountain time). They’ll be able to provide you with current water level information, advice on how to secure the necessary permits, and a complete list of local outfitters. |
