Endurance athlete Chelsey Magness has experienced some of the toughest events in the adventure world—but perhaps none as challenging as becoming a mother. She later decides to compete in the Patagonian Expedition Race in Chile, where she pushes herself in an attempt to beat the environment, the competition, and her grief.
