There’s no better way to get to know someone than on a bike, says adventure cyclist Jalen Bazile. And it’s a uniquely magical experience to ride with people who hold shared identities. Produced and filmed by Bazile, Rachel Olzer, Evan Green, and Adam Pawlikiewicz, Chosen Confluence features Bazile and Olzer on a bikepacking trip along Colorado’s South Platte River. The two relate to each other’s struggles and joys, and express how finding BIPOC outdoor enthusiasts to explore the places and activities they love makes them feel more connected.
