Ultra-endurance cyclists Lael Wilcox and Joe Cruz, along with filmmaker Rugile Kaladyte, traveled to the capital of Colombia to help launch the Bikepacking for Conservation Program. Their goal: to explore and scout a bikepacking route connecting bustling Bogotá with rural communities and Chingaza National Natural Park, east of the metropolis. The result, Ruta Chingaza, will foster an appreciation of nature and better reveal the ecosystems upon which life and livelihoods in this area depend. The full film can be found on YouTube.
